PR Account Manager Role

FurtherMore Marketing is a hungry and exciting marketing agency looking for new talent. You’ll be a PR professional who can support our existing clients with local, national and industry PR coverage.

You’ll develop our PR services further, bringing in new clients and showing the benefit of great PR to our existing customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for a full-time PR Account Manager to join the creative team at FurtherMore Marketing.

You’ll have exceptional copy writing skills, with an eye for detail and a deft approach to language. You’ll understand the need for capturing a customer’s voice and communicating with it authentically to a range of target media.

You’ll be independent and be able to think laterally, seeing connections and opportunities as they arise.

You’ll have a proven track record of developing existing accounts and pitching for and winning new accounts.

You’ll be confident when dealing with customers or attending networking events, with a keen eye for developing meaningful relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Managing a portfolio of clients’ PR accounts.
  • Building relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Advising clients and strategizing with them to maximise impact and reach of PR in-line with other marketing campaigns.
  • Briefing clients on press campaigns and PR solutions.
  • Planning innovative and creative content and ideas which resonates which target media and audiences.
  • Liaising and building key relationships with the media (magazines, newspapers, radio, TV, blogs, vlogs, websites).
    • Speaking to journalists and other members of the press on behalf of the clients
  • Analyse and report (either written or verbally) on the effectiveness of PR campaigns to stakeholders.
  • Staying up to date with PR and marketing trends and tools to assist in campaign delivery.

Social Media Manager

FurtherMore Marketing is a hungry and exciting marketing agency looking for new talent.

We’re looking for a social media account manager to run our clients’ social media channels and create fresh, engaging content that stands out. Personality is important to us, and you’ll be curious, bright and eager to learn new things. You’ll be used to working as part of a team,  bringing the best of what we each offer to our clients.

You’ll have a passion for social media – not just the platforms but for content creation. Supported by graphic designers and a videographer, you’ll develop ideas that the team can help you turn into something that drives engagement.

Your writing skills and attention to detail will be second-to-none, and you’ll be able to authentically capture a client’s tone of voice whilst appealing to their target audience.

You will produce monthly content calendars for each client, deciding what content will be posted to which platform. We currently run accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube and LinkedIn. By keeping up with trends and expanding your industry knowledge, you’ll be able to recommend the right platform for the right customer, as well as decide which new platforms are worthy of engagement.

As a social media expert, you’ll have an eye for analytics and be a part of establishing the metrics for success on each account. Working with our digital delivery team, you’ll measure how your content performs and report back to customers in a monthly report.

Your Skills

  • Experienced social media manager or executive
  • Deep understanding of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube
  • A self-motivated individual with a curiosity about social media. You’ll want to continue to learn and improve your skills all the time
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral
  • Excellent copywriting skills, able to adapt your written voice to suit the client and audience
  • An understanding of social media analytics is essential – determining how success will be measured and then using in-built analytics tools for different platforms to measure engagement. Support from the digital team will be given to integrate campaigns into Google Analytics, but an understanding of how we can tie campaigns into other analytics would be an advantage
  • Experience of PPC advertising on social media platforms is desirable, as you will work with our Search PPC team to support our clients’ PPC goals
  • Able to work to targets, both setting your own and working within KPIs for our customers
  • Experience working with InDesign and Photoshop to produce graphics for social media is desirable
